What are your hours of operation?

We offer tutoring sessions from 9am-7pm on Monday-Thursday. We offer appointment slots between 11am-3pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
Where are you located?

Our Chiral Curriculums tutors are located in Charlotte, NC, but for all of our In-Person tutoring sessions, we come right to your door! If you would rather get out of your house for tutoring, we opt to meet you at a location of your choice, like whichever branch of the public library is closest to you, or your favorite quiet dining spot. (Panera's are a personal favorite!) For Online tutoring sessions, you can choose to locate yourself wherever works best for you, and we will connect via the Google Meets Video chat platform.
How long are your tutoring sessions?

Our tutoring sessions for any subject run for the standard length of one (1) hour.
What languages do you provide tutoring services in?

Currently at Chiral Curriculums, we only offer tutoring services in the English language. But if you are searching for tutoring support in another language, feel free to reach out and we will do our best to help connect you to someone who can help.
Can I only book each tutoring session for just one student at a time?

Chiral Curriculums always does our best to tailor the learning experience to each individual student, so we do prefer to work one-on-one during tutoring sessions. More than One Student in Your House? However, if you have more than one student in your home, (regardless of their ages or what grade they are in), we also have more than one tutor on staff, so technically we can provide the option of double-booking, so that more than one child can be tutored at one time, regardless of if they need support in different subjects or the same one. Twins/Triplets/...Octuplets? Additionally, if you have the unique situation of having multiples who all require some extra educational support in the same subject, we are open to tutoring more than one student at a time. (For this however, we recommend book a longer session to accommodate for the extra time that is needed to make sure that each student receives the necessary attention they deserve.)
There's a subject that my child needs some tutoring in that I do not see listed on your website? Are you able to tutor in subjects that you haven't listed?

The standard subjects that we offer tutoring services in are listed below. K-8 Spelling & Reading, Numbers & Math, Emotional Development, Spatial Learning, English, Math, Science, Social Studies 9-12 Algebra, Geometry, Calculus, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, US History, World History, American Literature, World Literature A/P + College Biology, Chemistry, Trigonometry, Statistics, Finance, English, History If you are looking for tutoring for yourself or your child, please reach out to us directly via email or phone call and we can discuss your unique request on a case-by-case basis. If we cannot help you with a particular subject, we will certainly try to connect you with someone that may be able to assist you.
Do you work with students who have learning disabilities?

We absolutely do! Chiral Curriculums is dedicated to providing educational support to people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities. Whether the student struggles with dyslexia; or has developmental delays due to the genetic predispositions of Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, or hearing impairment; or if they exist anywhere within the Autism Spectrum and present with issues such as ADHD and ADD, we welcome everyone. We do not claim to be specifically trained experts in all learning disabilities, but we do believe that through tailoring all of our tutoring services to each individual student we work with, that every student can benefit from our services, at whatever pace works for them.
